Being Solid

Just because YOU are solid, doesn't mean anyone
YOU THINK IS SOLID
IS ACTUALLY SOLID, TOO.

Can't count on someone being solid
JUST BECAUSE YOU ARE. 

Just doing someone a favor
doesn't mean they'll APPRECIATE IT, 
AND YOU, TOO. 

If it worked like that, 
I WOULDN'T ENCOUNTER TW@TS.

The people I've done favors for
DON'T ACT LIKE I WAS DOING THEM A FAVOR. 
I WAS, BUT THEY DIDN'T ACT LIKE IT. 

It'd be cool if it worked like this:
"A***, you've been solid, thanks."
"A***, I appreciate xyz."
"A***, do you need anything?"
"A***, you did xyz for me, what can I do for you?"

Or just fkn recognition and realization
THAT I DID IT FOR THEM. 
NOT BECAUSE I FKN HAD TO, EITHER. 
BECAUSE I DON'T.

It would be cool if I could expect the bare min...

Would keep things simple and easy. 

Anyway, there's a site called Trash Nothing... 
It's to give away stuff... And get stuff for free...

Someone was giving away "Dance Dance Revolution"!!!!
I replied too late and they had already given it away....


I found a blue trunk... 
My neighbor loaned me his dolly so I could go get it... 

So I got it and it's in the hallway right now, 
in my hallway, in my apartment. 

I made it inside and needed to sit down. 

Now, I'm just taking a bit of a rest before I...
Move some stuff around to make room for it. 

I'm thinking about using it to store my wool. 
I have most of it in my bedroom right now. 

Been using my bedroom as storage and sleeping in my living room. 

So, I'm going to clean it up, move some stuff, and set it up... 
I'm going to put what I've got in there, to save some room... 
Also, I'm going to put my "rack" on top of it. 

My neighbor gave me a rack. It's a wooden one that I use
to hang up my blankets on, the ones I'm working on. 

So I can just grab them off of there... And work on them... 

I found a large basket to set up, on top, too. 

So I'm about to go do that, soon.

Welp, the inside of the trunk is wet... 
So I turned it on its side and set up the fan.
My neighbor said it should be dry by tomorrow.
With the fan on it overnight. 

Anyway, my neighbor had an idea about jewelry. 
We contacted a company for patents. 

The one he was thinking about was already done, 
but there's a "twist" on it that might be patentable. 

And then, if I get the patent and then I could license it 
and get royalties per unit. 

It's an alternative for something that's already out there. 
And it's already out there
because it's a neat thing people wanted. 

Anyway, never tried anything like that, 
but they already sent me the NDA and another form, 
I filled out the form and that's that. 

We'll see how that goes. If it goes anywhere, 
but it would be pretty cool if I could patent that. 

And get royalties for it. 

And if I can get royalties for it and all of that, 
I can "invent" other things. 

I'd like to make some safety-related stuff. 
I just never did this before so... I'm trying it out, I guess.
