Maybe She Forgot

There's a good possibility that she forgot.
About the vest that I was supposed to pick up yesterday.
It was Canadian Thanksgiving yesterday.

Technically, it's Monday, according to my son.

Pretty sure it's every Second Sunday in October.

American Thanksgiving is in November.

I saw a video this morning with a guy in it...
He was making an igloo with colored ice balls...

And he made lights for the inside of the igloo
With frozen bubbles.

I don't know how he pulled that off...
Don't know how he'd get electricity out there,
unless the lights ran off a battery...

My cousin finished his hiking trip about a month ago.

I rarely contact my cousins...
They leave me hanging all the time.

What's the point? Just to say I did?
JUST TO TRY TO CONNECT
WITH ANY OF THEM?

The other day, I got a cassette (VHS)
STUCK IN MY VCR...

My son and I were going to watch a VHS...

The tape part got stuck in the VCR, like STUCK IN THERE...

It was so stuck that the cassette was hanging from the tape part
because the tape part was stuck INSIDE the VCR...

I was pretty sure that I'd have to take the VCR apart
just to get the tape out and try to fix the VCR somehow...

So I unplugged it, and it was over near where I was sitting...
On the couch...

My son and I were eating popcorn and watching a movie
On my computer, instead. Was pretty much our only
other option...

So we watched the full movie...

I went to put my VCR back in its place,
I was still disappointed and was just moving it
out of the way...

So I picked up the VCR to go put it back...
THE TAPE WAS BESIDE THE VCR...
WAS UNSTUCK...

THE TAPE PART WAS DETACHED
FROM THE INSIDE... OF THE VCR...

IT WAS PRETTY ODD...

It was literally stuck in there.
Not the cassette itself, it was hanging
by the tape part, the tape part was stuck in there.
Was so stuck in there that the cassette was
hanging from the VCR.

AFTER THAT MOVIE, IT WASN'T.
Would you find it odd?

IT WAS UNPLUGGED.

IT WAS ON THE FLOOR,
RIGHT BESIDE ME...

THE TAPE WAS WRAPPED AROUND
THE GEARS IN THE VCR.

OR MECHANISM THAT PLAYS THE CASSETTES...

IT WAS SO STUCK, I ALMOST BROKE IT
TRYING TO GET IT OUT...

INSTEAD OF BREAKING IT,
I WAS JUST GOING TO TAKE IT APART...
JUST TO GET IT OUT, IF ANYTHING...
