Besides Saving Myself Money

Last night, I saw that they started putting out Christmas stuff.
IT BUGS ME BECAUSE
1) HALLOWEEN HASN'T PASSED YET.
2) WE HAVEN'T EVEN MADE IT TO NOVEMBER
****3) THEY SHOULD HAVE ENOUGH RESPECT***
***TO WAIT UNTIL AFTER REMEMBRANCE DAY****
***TO START WITH THE CHRISTMAS CRAP****

I noticed it when I was in the dairy aisle
AND THEY ARE ALREADY SELLING EGGNOG FFS.

It's almost like "May as well get 2 turkeys.
one for Thanksgiving, one for Christmas."
It's almost that bad.

Slow yo' roll y'know?

I try not to think too much about Christmas.
Just at the mall, THEY DON'T HAVE TO START THIS EARLY!
IT'S JUST PAST THE FIRST WEEK OF OCTOBER.

Like may as well start Halloween stuff when the kids 
are going back to school, eh?
BUT THEY DON'T
BECAUSE THAT'S TOO EARLY.
BUT DO THEY GET THE POINT ABOUT CHRISTMAS?

AND WE CAN'T JUST SAY MERRY CHRISTMAS
BECAUSE, APPARENTLY, THAT'S OFFENSIVE.
TO PEOPLE WHO DON'T CELEBRATE IT.

We have to totally tiptoe around people
WHO F*CKING TAKE OFFENSE
TO MERRY CHRISTMAS.
WHAT KIND OF BULLSH*T IS THAT?!

Back in the day, you just said:
"Thanks, you too."

EVEN IF YOU DON'T CELEBRATE IT.

Am I supposed to be offended by someone
wishing me a happy whatever-the-f*ck-they-celebrate?

Just because I 'could' be offended by that
DOESN'T MEAN I NEED TO BE OFFENDED BY THAT.


What I am offended by are the "mobs"
burning my country's flag.

IF WE WENT TO THEIR COUNTRY
AND DID THE EXACT SAME SH*T
THEY WOULD F*CKING JAIL US OR K!LL US.

AND HERE WE ARE ACTING LIKE WE TOLERATE THAT SH*T?
WHO TF DO THEY THINK THEY ARE?

At least the truckers were about Canada.
If everyone's such a supporter,
they don't need to be HERE doing it.

WHAT WOULD HAPPEN
IF CANADIANS WENT TO PALESTINE
AND WAVING OUR FLAGS,
WITH SMOKE BOMBS ETC
BURNING THEIR FLAG
SAYING DEATH TO THEM ETC...

WHAT WOULD HAPPEN?
ANYONE WILLING TO VENTURE A GUESS?

IF CANADIANS WENT TO DO THAT
IN ANY COUNTRY...
THERE WOULD BE CONSEQUENCES.

EVEN OUR PASSPORT ISN'T WORTH 
MUCH OF A SH*T BECAUSE JT
HAS BEEN P*SSING PEOPLE OFF
GIVING CANADIANS A BAD NAME.

That Canadian guy from Shark Tank was talking about that
in an interview I saw. Pretty sure it was him saying that.
He has strong political opinions.

Pretty sure anyone who's been paying attention
to what's been going on has strong opinions about it.

Feel free to disagree with whatever I write.
I'm not trying to sway anyone or get votes lol.

Just certain things p*ss me off.
Lately, it's the covering up for stuff
they knew was wrong.

Then turning a blind eye to BS.
Then denying they are turning a blind eye to it.

WE DON'T WANT THAT SH*T IN CANADA!!!!

You're still "free" to believe WHATEVER THE F*CK YOU WANT.
JUST AS I AM FREE TO DO THE SAME.

BUT TAKE THAT BS SOMEWHERE ELSE.

Because you'd want US to do the SAME
IF WE WERE IN YOUR COUNTRY!!!!!!

If that makes me seem racist, go play that card.

BECAUSE IT WOULD BE THE EXACT SAME THING
IF WHITE PEOPLE WERE DOING THAT
IN YOUR COUNTRY.

And the thing is that nobody's going to "save" us
IF THE GOVERNMENT IS NOT DOING ANYTHING
TO STOP IT.

BUT THEY CALLED A STATE OF EMERGENCY
ON A TRUCKER CONVOY
AND FROZE BANK ACCOUNTS ETC.

If they get away with doing whatever during "protests"
THEY'LL TRY TO TAKE IT ALL THE WAY.

You know why they say:
GIVE THEM AN INCH
THEY'LL TAKE A MILE?

BECAUSE IF YOU LET THEM GET AWAY
WITH WHAT THEY ARE DOING...
THEY'LL ASSUME THEY'LL GET AWAY
WITH EVEN MORE.

That's what it's like with protests.

And what it's like with people
who either have "authority" or think they do.
THAT GOES TO THEIR HEADS
TO THINK THEY ARE ABOVE THE LAW.
EVEN WHEN THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO BE
ENFORCING THE LAW THEY DECIDE
FOR WHATEVER REASON THEY CAN BREAK IT.

What comes to mind straight away...
I forget when this actually happened...
The story I'm just about to write about...
It stuck in my mind... How could it not?

AS A PRIME EXAMPLE OF COPS
THINKING THEY CAN JUST DO
WHATEVER TF THEY WANT.

There were some teens sitting on the ground.
On a platform, like a train or transit way...
I also forget where this happened. In the US.

So the kids were all sitting with their backs
against the wall and they WERE IN HANDCUFFS.
THERE WAS NO WAY
EITHER OF THEM, ANY OF THEM
COULD DO ANYTHING.

I DON'T KNOW WHAT TRANSPIRED TO THIS.
ALL I COULD TELL WAS THEY WERE BEING DETAINED.
SITTING ON THE GROUND ON THE PLATFORM.

ONE OF THE COPS APPROACHED A GUY,
PULLED HIS GUN OUT AND JUST...
POPPED THE GUY IN THE HEAD.
FOR F*CKING NO REASON.

BAD ENOUGH HE EVEN DID IT,
BUT THERE WAS ZERO REASON FOR DOING IT.

And to be one of the guy's friends?
Sitting cuffed next to the guy?
Having to see that?

It's f*cked up that it even happened,
but RIGHT NEXT TO YOU?
TO A GUY YOU KNOW?

IT WAS ALL RECORDED.
NO DENYING IT.
NO HIDING IT.

About whenever I think of "excessive force"
THAT VIDEO COMES TO MIND
AND IT MAKES MY BLOOD BOIL.

And the guy who was trying to pull his pants up...

A guy was being "directed" by a cop to approach him
so the cop could cuff him. Something like this.

SO AS THE GUY WAS APPROACHING,
THE GUY'S PANTS START FALLING.

The dude reaches down to pull up his pants.
AND THE COP SHOT HIM.

He was literally instinctively pulling his pants up.
HE WASN'T REACHING FOR ANYTHING
THERE WASN'T ANYTHING ON HIM.

The thing in the second one, is that being a cop,
you have a split second, or less than one
to make a decision.

THE DUDE WAS JUST PULLING HIS PANTS UP.
HE WAS COMPLYING UP TO THAT POINT.
HE JUST PAUSED.
TO PULL HIS PANTS UP.

I was thinking about this earlier.
To err on the side of caution.
Because there are lots of situations
WHERE IT IS SAFER TO ERR 
ON THE SIDE OF CAUTION.

But the first one, on that platform...
WAS 100% ABUSE OF POWER.

Not everyone given authority abuses it, though.
It's just the ones who only want it TO abuse it.

There was that experiment with the guards and prisoners.
Where they were pretending to be their roles.
They weren't real guards or prisoners.
It was an experiment.

Another thing that comes to mind was a story
I watched about an artist. Can't remember her name...
Anyway, she did an "exhibit" where 
anyone could come up to her and do whatever.

At first it started off light stuff, 
then got to an extreme
where she could have been killed.

And that was also an experiment
TO SEE WHAT PEOPLE WOULD DO.
IF THEY THOUGHT
NOTHING WOULD HAPPEN.

She even had said that she would take
100% responsibility
for whatever happened to her during it.
Something like this.

But it seems like our society
in our country is an experiment
TO SEE WHAT PEOPLE WILL DO
TO SEE HOW THEY'LL REACT.

I've had that game played with me.
TO SEE WHAT I WAS GOING TO DO.
TO SEE HOW I WOULD REACT.

WHERE PEOPLE LITERALLY TRIED TO PUSH
ME INTO REACTING ANY TYPE OF WAY
TO GET ME LOOKING 
HOWEVER THEY WANTED ME TO LOOK.

So now I see that for what it is.
Yet people think they can still just do that sh*t to me.
BECAUSE IT'S PROJECTING THAT SH*T
ONTO ME
BECAUSE I DON'T DO THAT SH*T.

And you'd only fully, truly, understand it
IF IT HAPPENED TO YOU.
IF IT NEVER DID,
YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND IT.

AND THEN... YOU'RE NOT SUPPOSED TO BE UPSET
ABOUT IT IF IT DOES HAPPEN TO YOU
BECAUSE IT JUST MAKES YOU LOOK
"CRAZY."

BUT... Look what JT uses his "powers" to do
TO END THE TRUCKER RALLY...

WHY ISN'T HE DOING THE EXACT SAME THING
ABOUT THIS "OTHER" RALLY?

State of emergency, exhile the people
CHANTING DEATH UNTO US.
And they'd SCREAM RACISM!!!!

AND THAT'S PROBABLY WHY
THEY HAVEN'T DONE ANYTHING!!!

But they were ALL OVER DECLARING A STATE
OF EMERGENCY OVER MANDATES.

Do protesters have to start protesting the protests?

Because that's what happened.
SO MANY PEOPLE B*TCHED AND COMPLAINED
TO THE GOVERNMENT
TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT.

I KNOW THIS BECAUSE THAT'S ALL 
EVERYONE WAS TALKING ABOUT.

DOES IT HAVE TO TURN VIOLENT
FOR ANYONE TO BE LIKE:

YO! GTFO OF OUR COUNTRY!!!
If you don't like Canada, don't come to Canada.
We have enough undermining in our own country...
With BS politicians...

But FUNNY HOW ENOUGH PEOPLE
B*TCHED, WHINED, AND COMPLAINED
ABOUT THE TRUCKERS...

THAT SOMETHING WAS DONE ABOUT IT.
SO WHAT DOES IT HAVE TO TAKE
IS WHAT I WANT TO KNOW.

"I'm not pro EITHER SIDE. I'M PRO CANADA."
IF YOU'RE NOT PRO CANADA,
JUST DON'T BE IN CANADA.

It'd be fair to say if you're not FOR a country...
DON'T BE IN THAT COUNTRY.

But it's that we want fairness for ALL Canadians...
Just not the ones who can't afford f*ck all.
Or the ones wishing death upon us ffs.

But let's let EVERYONE STAY
JUST BECAUSE THEY WANT TO.

AND THEY CAN BRING THEIR BS HERE WITH THEM.

That doesn't seem very beneficial to Canada.

I swear if the scandals in the government were brought to light...
It'd make someone else as viral as "Diddy."

Sick of hearing about that guy.
Just prosecute the guy already.

But of course, celebrity stuff goes "viral."
I don't pay much attention to it, honestly.

I feel like just saying tldr or whatever it is.
So I could just get the gist of it.

WITH INFLATION
BUT NOT RAISING MINIMUM WAGE ETC.

Someone was telling me the other day
that the guy he knows who lives in this city
said he makes $38/h and says he's "barely" scraping by.

So if a guy making $38/h (when min wage is
something like $15/h) can barely scrape by... 
HOW ARE PEOPLE MAKING MIN WAGE
"SCRAPING" BY?

And people who get turned down for the jobs?
How are THEY doing?

So yeah there are things I could be depressed about,
but that would be me deciding to focus
ONLY ON THAT.
JUST LIKE A LOT OF PEOPLE
ARE DECIDING TO ONLY
FOCUS ON THAT.

COULDN'T THEY BE FOCUSED
ON BETTERING THEMSELVES
SO WE DON'T HAVE TO KEEP DEALING WITH
ALL THE BS WE'VE "HAD" TO "DEAL WITH"
THAT. SHOULD. NEVER. HAPPENED.

Something my mother used to say:
TWO WRONGS DON'T MAKE A RIGHT.

I mean, if we can just walk around and
SIMPLY DEMAND EVERYTHING 
WE WANT... ANY TIME WE WANT...
HOWEVER WE WANT...

SOMEONE SHOULD MAKE A FLAG
FOR A MADE UP COUNTRY
FLY IT AROUND, GET THE CROWD RILED UP.

AND SEE WHAT HAPPENS.

For the record, I'm not saying
any country is a made up one.

Technically they are designed the way they are.
Due to the nature of their culture +

But not claiming any that are real are ficticious.
I was saying inventing a new country
and waving around a flag of a country
that has yet to be "founded."

I mean Canada's only been a country since 1867.
The old jail's been there since before confederation.

But it only takes repetition. 
Repeating beliefs etc
to enforce them amongst themselves.
