Been watching videos about how some chicks
set up "thirst" traps at gyms and try to "expose" guys etc.
First of all, it's a public gym,
NOT A PERSONAL RECORDING STUDIO.
Secondly, it's possible to work out at home.
Thirdly, MOST guys are there JUST TO WORK OUT.
(It's not all about you like it's not all about them).
THEN there was a video "exposing" two girls
FOR POINTING AT A DUDE AND MAKING FUN OF
HIS "WORK OUT ROUTINE"
A guy made a video ABOUT THEIR VIDEO.
And all of a sudden they want HIM to take down HIS video.
AS THOUGH THEY HAVE A RIGHT TO
JUST DEMAND THAT HE DOES
BECAUSE IT MAKES THEM LOOK BAD
RIGHTFULLY SO.
Like a guy could be totally in his zone,
doing his workout, and if he looks at someone
FOR EVEN A SPLIT SECOND
HE'S BEING A CREEP?
I look at people all the time.
DOES THAT MEAN I'M I'M LOOKING AT THEM
FOR ANY OTHER REASON
OTHER THAN THE FACT THAT THEY ARE THERE?
But dudes will be literally minding their business
AND A CHICK WILL LITERALLY GO
RIGHT IN THEIR LINE OF VISION
TO TRY TO "MAKE" THEM LOOK
WHETHER THEY WANT TO OR NOT.
They seem to make going to the gym
ABOUT their next hookup.
You can't be all like:
"I didn't come here to be stared at."
And then be all like "why aren't guys talking to me?"
Speaking of "I didn't come here to be started at"
A LEGALLY BLIND GUY WAS WORKING OUT
AT A GYM AND A FEMALE LITERALLY SAID
'I DIDN'T COME HERE TO BE STARED AT.'
The dude showed him the card he has
THAT ACTUALLY STATES THAT HE IS BLIND.
Like how can a BLIND person be LOOKING AT ANYONE?
These girls out here recording themselves for social media
FOR LIKES, COMMENTS WHATEVER...
CAN'T TAKE IT IF SOMEONE LOOKS AT THEM
IN. REAL. F*CKING. LIFE.
And another guy was at a gym...
A female recording herself ACCUSED HIM
OF TAKING A PICTURE OF HER FOR HIS SOCIAL MEDIA
when he doesn't have social media
AND HE WAS TAKING A SCREENSHOT
TO SEND TO HIS WIFE.
NOT TAKING A PICTURE OF HER.
She just assumed he was because she had him
IN HER VIDEO.
I see a couple of guys making videos about this.
One was saying that he would offer HIS LAWYER
IF HE WANTED TO PRESS CHARGES
FOR MAKING A FALSE CLAIM ABOUT HIM.
IN A VIDEO.
These are all reasons some people
don't even want to go to the gym.
The gym here, it was too weird.
I was minding my own business
and I went to get a drink of water
and while I was drinking said water
TWO GUYS WERE MAKING COMMENTS
ABOUT ME.
I WAS THE ONLY FEMALE AT THE GYM.
I didn't want to go back. I didn't.
I do mostly arm and leg stuff
THAT I CAN DO AT HOME.
DO I RECORD IT? NO?
BECAUSE I'M NOT DOING IT FOR ATTENTION.
The only person I looked at at the gym...
I WAS WAITING FOR THE RIGHT TIME
TO GIVE HIM ENCOURAGEMENT.
THAT'S IT. THAT'S ALL.
Not to "make fun" of anyone.
F*CK THAT SIDEWAYS WITH A SURFBOARD.
WHY DO THAT SH*T TO ANYONE?
THERE'S NOTHING TO GET OUT OF IT.
And if there "is" that's the wrong sh*t to get out of it.
BECAUSE F*CK THAT.
Because WHY NOT ENCOURAGE SOMEONE?
Does. Not. Cost. You. A. Thing.
That's probably what the world needs more of.
The guys weren't talking about me
to give me encouragement.
As a female, I don't consider myself attractive.
I don't see why anyone would talk about me.
I don't see why any guy would be a creep to me, either.
I'm not talking about those guy at the gym,
I'm talking about the guy who put his hand on my knee
when he picked me up hitchhiking.
The guy who drove around LOOKING FOR ME
INSTEAD OF JUST LEAVING.
And the guy who cut me off on the sidewalk...
THEN TRIED LURING ME TO HIS CAR
WHEN I CROSSED THE ROAD.
The guy who pulled it out when I was talking to him.
And the guy who followed me to my appointment
AND PRETENDED HE HAD HIS OWN APPOINTMENT
WAITING FOR ME TO LEAVE.
If he had his own appointment...
WHY WOULD HE FOLLOW ME BACK OUT?
I'm talking about THOSE guy.
It's not like I'm a "model" or something like that.
I'm not TRYING to be ANYTHING.
I was literally walking to someone's house.
When that guy was likely trying to kidnap me
BECAUSE WHY DO THAT?
NEVER had I EVER had that happen before.
BECAUSE THERE'S NO REASON FOR IT.
The only reason for that was to GET ME INTO THE CAR.
Which wasn't going to happen.
AND DIDN'T BECAUSE I IMMEDIATELY
CROSSED THE ROAD.
Y'know?
THIS is why I don't wear makeup anymore.
I DRESS LIKE A DUDE ON PURPOSE.
I've always been a "tom boy" and feel more comfortable
in "dude" clothes.
So why I was "targeted" like that, IDFK.
But THIS isn't why I go to the gym.
I just don't go anymore BECAUSE WHY PAY EXTRA
FOR WORKOUTS I CAN DO AT HOME?
I wouldn't care if anyone LOOKED at me
BUT TO TRY TO FOLLOW ME
OR TRY TO GET ME IN YOUR CAR...
(And there wasn't ANY good reasons
for the guy for trying to cut me off on the sidewalk
AND TRY TO LURE ME WITH A VIDEO OF ME
THAT I KNEW HE DIDN'T HAVE).
Or to pull "it" out just talking out in public. FFS.
Because of these things, I have to be more cautious,
but it's discouraging (and pretty disturbing, too).
I don't like that I have to be, but I'm not the only female
that has to be cautious out there.
Just doesn't make ANY sense to me
that anyone would want to "target" me in any way.
I don't wear makeup, typically.
I don't wear 'revealing' clothes.
I'm not out there trying to call ANY attention to myself.
But it's like being nice to people can sometimes
give them the wrong ideas.
Like the guy who was trying to "claim" me as his wife.
He literally was trying to get me to agree with his "plan."
You can't just do that. Just because you want to. I have a choice.
Just like you can't just do a whole bunch of things
just because you want to.
It doesn't work like that.
The dude trying to lure me to the car with the video...
He must have thought I AM STUPID.
If I was, I would have walked right into the trap
I SAW THEM SETTING UP FOR ME
BY TRYING TO CUT ME OFF ON THE SIDEWALK.
If I'm not going to walk into THAT TRAP
WHAT MADE HIM THINK I WOULD FOR THE OTHER?
I should have reported that.
BUT LOOK AT WHAT HAPPENS WHEN I DO?
Even so... Those guys are still out there, somewhere.
And hopefully, they never pull that sh*t again.
The fact that they did... DID THEY BEFORE?
HAD I REPORTED THEM,
COULD I HAVE SAVED SOMEONE?
And I'm not anti-immigration.
I'm anti-letting people LIKE THOSE GUYS into this country.
But it's not like THOSE GUYS are going to be openly like:
LOOK AT ME! I DO THIS SH*T!
If it wasn't for immigration, I wouldn't be Canadian.
I wouldn't have been born at all.
My Grandmother's father was from Scotland.
My Grandfather's father was from England.
My father's mother was from Finland.
I could have been born as someone else
from one of those countries.
Just saying that we don't need THAT sh*t here.
Not like we need THAT sh*t ANYWHERE.
