Overheating

 A couple of weeks ago, we got rain, but it froze. 
The trees couldn't take the weight of the ice so they broke.
What I mean is that their branches broke off, 
but I saw one tree that was split in half, 
because the branches on both sides tore it down the middle. 
A friend said it looked like it got hit by lightning. 

Anyway, the reason I'm writing about it
is that the power went out
because trees were falling onto the power lines. 

I'm writing about that because it was quiet here. 
Nothing that hums while it is plugged in, was humming. 
All the sounds that are so constant, that they're just there, weren't. 

Been staying up late again. I don't know why. 
It got into a bad habit because I had someone staying with me
who stayed up late every night. 

Also, I get into a mode at night where I want to work on stuff. 
It's weird, but I guess it's what they call a "second wind." 
That, and I should probably cap the time I have my last cup of tea. 

I'm not sure why it's so hot in here, but it is. 
It's like I have the heat on full blast or something. 
I don't know how to fix it and it makes it hard to sleep, too hot. 

Got back into coding and found some code for my website that I like. 
I'm going to use it for my other websites, actually. 
I'm stoked about it. 

Anyway, I should try to sleep.
