What Happens After We Die?

Something I have often wondered.
What happens after we die?
Some people don't believe in a 'life' after death.
They tend to believe that nothing happens after we die.
That we just die and cease to exist.
I don't know. Been curious.

Recently, my brother's roommate killed himself.
The guy must have been in his twenties.
He looks young in the photos I've seen of him.
Makes me wonder why people kill themselves.
They probably have all sort of reasons.
His name was on the lease. Now my brother has to find a new place to live.
My brother was home at the time it happened.
It is all so tragic. I keep thinking about it.
Wondering why he did it.
I'm sure everyone is wondering why.
Only he knows why. So young, too young.

I believe in ghosts and that our spirits can exist without our physical bodies.
Not everyone believes this. People can believe whatever they want to.

There are things in life that we cannot explain.
Just because we can't or haven't seen something,
does not mean it does not exist.
It could.
Just because we haven't experienced something,
doesn't mean it hasn't been experienced by someone else.

I keep thinking about these things.
My mind cannot stop thinking about these things tonight.
