Back when I was a janitor at an insurance company,
someone was throwing out a plant.
It was my job to collect the garbage
and the recycling,
then clean the elevators,
the staff lounge,
and the windows at the front of the building.
Anyway, I took the plant and put it in the office.
The office was in the basement.
The plant wasn't getting any sun
and I was the only one watering it.
They said to take it home, so I did.
That was like 10 years ago, now.
It grew 4 times bigger than it was
when I "found" it.
So I named it JT (Jungle Tree).
Tonight, I planted some peppermint,
some lettuce, and onions.
I put JT in charge of "helping them grow."
The peppers I "planted" a couple of weeks ago
are already half an inch or so, now.
I was showing them off, today.
Well, I guess yesterday now...
From what I know about mint,
it grows like crazy.
I helped a friend plant some in her garden
when I was a kid and it... Went nuts.
Should be easy enough to grow, though.
Those seeds are so freaking tiny.
Flakes of pepper (salt and pepper)
are bigger than these seeds LOL.
Never grown lettuce or onions before...
I tried growing some potatoes once,
but they need a lot of space to grow...
Supposedly you can grow them in a barrel.
Probably can with carrots, too.
Carrots and onions "get along" well
because carrots repell onion eating creatures
somehow and onions help out the carrots that way, too.
By creatures, I mean insects.
That's one thing about living so high up...
Ground insects won't come up here.
Like slugs, for example.
Do slugs classify as insects?
There's an open mic thing at a bar nearer to here.
I haven't been there, before.
Not like I hang out at bars anymore.
I was checking out their sign.
It says: "If you're drinking to forget,
please pay in advance."
I almost forgot to pay, once.
Not there, at another place.
I did pay, though.
Just got reminded to do so LOL.
A reminder here and there never hurt anyone, right?
I appreciate reminders, actually.
But paying in advance never hurt anyone, either.
That way you can just go when you're done.
Instead of waiting until you're done, to pay.
When you've got stuff on your mind,
you've got stuff on your mind.
And the bank did a stupid thing.
Wants to send me a passcode to the number
I was freaking calling them from.
And can't anyway, can't text a landline.
It's not a "real" landline. It's through VOIP.
I prefer the hardwire lines.
Those are better.
If my internet goes down,
I can't call them to tell them
because my phone'd be down, too.
It bugs me about that passcode thing with the bank.
If it's not "broken" don't "fix" it.
It was fine the way it was, it worked.
I dislike online banking.
Anyway, just moaning and groaning about it
won't change anything.
Just like "crying about it isn't going to change anything."
I have a massive headache and should be trying to sleep.
Mega tired.
I played the game called Astro Pop.
I used to play it in my 20s.
I had a few games on a USB thing.
One's a tetris one, 3D.
It's free under the name "crystal cubes."
Anything tetris probably has trademark stuff...
That's a fun one.
Even better than regular tetris.
And I looked at a bunch of PLR stuff I've accumulated.
Stuff to work on, and with, somehow.
I'd better continue writing when I'm more "awake."
Crashing hard.
Goodnight ya hosers.
