I had some weird dreams.
That I was living with my Grandmother and she passed away
(She actually passed away in 2014).
In my dream my Aunts were trying to force me out of her house
because they wanted to sell it.
They threatened me and told me I had 60 hours to get out.
In another part of my dream, I met a girl who had a pet python.
It was only a baby and I was afraid to touch it at first.
But this baby python could talk and I taught it to say my name.
It was really cute, a baby python saying my name.
It's snowing outside today. I probably won't go anywhere today.
Maybe to the mall to get a few things, but other than that, I'm not going anywhere.
The roads are bad. Can't even see them. The ploughs haven't come.
I used to spell it "plow" which I was told was the American way.
The Canadian way is "plough."
Either way, they need to come and clear the roads.
They wait until it stops snowing because they only want to do it once.
Because they have a budget for snow removal.
It's been crazy for snow this winter.
It actually started off mild and the snow kept coming.
I think it's supposed to be Groundhog Day today.
Can't see its shadow today because it is overcast,
but I doubt it will want to come out in this weather.
I've seen pictures of Chicago burried in the snow.
We've been pretty lucky so far. 8 and a half inches per snowfall.
Of course it accumulates, but the ploughs do an okay job.
I don't like how they block the sidewalks though.
They'll do the roads and then they block the sidewalks
because they make the snowbanks bigger.
Then we have to walk over it to try to cross the street.
The snowbanks get removed eventually,
but like I said, they have a budget so they don't do it very frequently.
They wait until they get ridiculous and then remove them.
My cousin was talking about the blizzard of '77.
People were freezing to death, couldn't see two feet in front of them.
The snow was so blinding and thick that they got lost in it.
They call it the perfect storm. 3 Great Lakes battling it out.
As bad as it was, it could happen again.
