Things have been really hard the last couple of weeks. Things got worse. A lot worse. Near the end.
My Grandmother passed away. She had a stroke about 3 months ago. I was going to the hospital to help as much as I could, as often as I could. There wasn't anything anyone could do.
I guess I'm still kind of shocked. I don't think it's really hit me yet. We knew it was going to happen, but there is no way to prepare for something like that.
Not really sure what to say these days so I haven't said much of anything. A few people know. But not everyone knows. I don't really want to talk about it because it's like a fresh wound.
But... I did have some good news lately, so that really balances things out. Also been trying to look at this differently.
One of my friends just had a baby girl and I'm so happy for him and his wife. Been thinking about them a lot lately. Been thinking of lots of stuff.

On the flip side, I'm happy to hear about the birth of your daughter. Despite being busy, hope things are great for you.
