I was flipping around blogger, reading blogs and looking at them. That's how I cam across Ken's blog. I saw these amzing tropical sunsets and I was immediately captivated. I was amazed by how he captures the scenes. Most of them are done in these soft pastel colours that really set the mood. I close my eyes and pretend I am there feeling the warm sand on my bare feet, listening to the waves hit the shore and the palm leaves blowing in the wind.
It helps to check out his latest works on the particularly stressful days. Any day actually. I've posted the links to his sites on the sidebar, so check them out! He pictures are really cool. He lives in Hawaii. It looks like such a beautiful place. The landscape is awesome. Actually, if there was a better word to describe these scenes, I'd use it, but I can't think of one right now.
Ken told me that the Hawaiian word for thank you is Mahalo.
I think that's very cool.
Mahalo to you Ken, for giving us the gift of nature's splender. Mahalo for your talented artistic expressions! You are one of a kind and I'm glad I had the chance to come across your blogs.
I really hope that Ken gets the recognition that he deserves.

It's too bad we don't have scenery quite like that to photograph in Ottawa eh?
It is definately too bad, but thanks to artists like Ken, we can enjoy this scenery anyway.
