Catching Up

It has been an interesting weekend so far. It was my mother's husband's birthday on friday so I went over there for a picnic type deal in their back yard. Then I slept over at her place. My brother came over at 2:00 a.m. There are two beds in his old room so he kept my up all night with his snoring and talking in his sleep. I am still mad at him for stealing from me, but I didn't bring it up because I'm going to wait until he least expects it. But that has been the first time in many years that the whole family was sleeping under the same roof.

My mother was drunk. She is funny when she is drunk. She laughs at everything because she thinks everything is funny. Anyway, I only had one drink. I had been drunk the night before so I thought that I'd better lay off the stuff.

The next day was a light one. Just like today will be. Yesterday I was looking out the bathroom window at my mother's place and I saw a couple of bluejays. Bluejays are my favorite birds. They were flying around, chasing each other, and perching in the tree in her backyard. It had been so long since I had seen a bluejay so that brightened up my day.

Then I bought them dinner and after dinner I took the bus home. I took the number 3 bus and that goes along preston street to somerset street. There was an Italian festival. They had the cars on display, the vipers.... They usually have the whole street blocked off and they have free samples of food that they give out as like a promotion for their stores. I haven't been to the festival in a long time.

I am going to visit my Grandmother today. She invited me over for dinner. So that is what I have planned for tonight. I'm just waiting for some people to come over and then I am going to get ready to go out.
