Not For Nothing

So today was the third quest to try to update my bus card thing.
Yesterday, I had to try a couple places, both closed. Not a lot open.
So today, I walked back over there, which wouldn't be bad.
It's just really cold outside...
Anyway, I couldn't update it again because I have to register it online
even though I have updated it a few times there.
So anyway, on my way there... I had a feeling I was going to see 333 again.
Either that or 217. I didn't know when I was going to see it,
but I had a feeling I was going to see it. I did see it earlier in the day.
I looked at the clock at exactly 3:33pm.

So there's a hole in the fence by the movie theater.
It's a shortcut that they keep blocking by fixing the fence,
and someone keep making a hole in the fence.
It used to be in the iron fence, now it is in the wooden fence.
I don't know why they can't just put a gate there.

I took the shortcut into the movie theater parking lot.
It used to be a drive-in theater. I went there once when I was 12.
I forget what movie we saw there, but I remember the red station wagon.
Anyway, I saw a blue car. Been in the habit of saying "Thank you for blue cars."
Whenever I see a blue car. I just made it a thing.
Then I looked at the license plate number, 333. I can't make it up.

After not being able to update my card again,
I went to the theater before coming home. To warm up and eat a treat.
I wasn't going to get a drink, but I did.
I brought the drink home with me and as I was drinking from it
when I got back, I looked at it and it had written on it:
"See the Big Picture." It's the slogan for the theater, but...
After seeing the 333 car in the parking lot... Then that...
I think that "See the Big Picture" wasn't just about movies...
I always acknowledge it when I see a sign. I say "thank you."
I don't know what the signs mean or whatever,
but I get them and that's why I acknowledge them.
And I appreciate when it happens.
They keep coming, pretty much every day, 333, 444, 217.
Or a 555, 111, 222, 1111, 1,111..

What blew me away was the "See the Big Picture."
The whole time I was sure I was going to see something...
I kept hearing: "You'll know it when you see it."
The numbers I'm getting used to, it's the other ones...

Anyway, my friend said he'd come get me. He did. We hung out.
Then he showed me how to set up a system and showed me some cords.
Then we talked about hard drives and operating systems.
I'm so clueless, but I set the system up by myself.
He just gave me everything I need and said "okay, do it."
He knows I have to learn by figuring it out
and he also knows that if I get stuck, that he has to show me.
It was a good lesson. I'm glad he's mentoring me.

I talked to one of the chefs in the kitchen on the phone today,
she said to come in the morning and talk to the Chef, the main Chef.
They just call him Chef there. He's been there so long...
That he was there when I first stepped foot in that kitchen to do co-op
when I was 17 years old. So he's been there like 18 years. Or more.
Don't know how long before I stepped foot in there that he was there.

So I have to get up early and go talk to him. Maybe he will let me in.
I have a couple people rooting for me there, they like me.
They might put in a good word for me.
This course is a big opportunity, like a golden ticket type of deal.
I'm just like totally anxious about it and about traveling.

I'd like to stay with my mother's cousin.
I stayed with one of her cousins years ago. Him and his wife,
they were so sweet. His wife used to write me letters every Christmas.
The've both passed away a long time ago now.
I'll stay at the hostel if I have enough money.
But I'd rather spend that money on food and be able to buy some flowers
to bring to the funeral or something. I have only been to a few.
Never brought flowers, just feel like I should.
She was my oldest living relative. She was 105.

Anyway, I should try to sleep but something tells me
that I'm going to have a hard time sleeping.
