What Weighs You Down?

"If you want to fly, give up everything that weighs you down."




















This is the picture that came to mind when I read it.
But what I thought about is how there aren't just physical things,
there are emotional things and mental/psychological things.
We can hold ourselves back or weigh ourselves down.
We may not want to do this, but we may not realize
that we're doing it, either.
It's easier to blame external obstacles, circumstances etc.

What should we be giving up?
Ways of thinking? Attitudes that hold us back?
Certain emotions? Behaviors or habits?
Can you think of anything else?
