Well, we needed the rain, but when it hasn't rained for a long time, it pours.
It's been dry here. It gets humid when it's about to rain.
It started raining last night when I was at work.
Been raining through the night and then today.
All the grass has been dying because it hadn't rained for a long time
and it has been hot. Reminds me of the drought we had a few years ago.
We had water restrictions and the river level dropped.
We've had floods before. When we get lots of snow.
It melts and makes the rivers overflow.
My family used to have a cottage very close to the river
and it had to be raised off the ground for that reason.
I really miss that cottage. It was one of the best parts of my life.
I went there with my Grandparents every summer.
I have good memories of that place and those summers.
One good thing about the grass dying before the fall,
is that hopefully my allergies won't be as bad as previous years.
Anyway, what have I been up to these days?
Not a lot, to be honest. Just learning html and css stuff.
I have a project I've been working on. Then there is my crochet stuff.
Haven't been knitting for a while, just crocheting.
I'll post some pictures whenever I finish something.
I have a blanket I'm almost finished and a play mat that is ongoing.
Well, a couple blankets. One is for an adult, one is for a baby.
The play mat is made of blocks of road pieces, grass pieces and has cars.
For whatever reason, I don't feel good today.
I feel like I'm drained of energy. I feel exhausted.
I have things to do today, though. Chores and stuff.
So, not much is going on these days. Which is okay.
We'll see if anything exciting happens.
I didn't hear from that internship thing, but at least I applied.
