A principle is:
a 'fundamental truth' or 'position'
that 'serves as a foundation' ----> for a 'system of belief'
or 'behavior'
OR a 'chain of reasoning'.
This is good news. Because what it means is that if we can change our principles, we can change our beliefs, behaviors, and chains or reasoning. Also I think we definitely need to change our beliefs and chains of reasoning to change our behavior.
You know what else I was thinking? I was thinking that because we have so much more choice than we realize we have... It's as simple as yes or no. On or off...
Like this.... Do I want to choose to think positively? Yes or No?
If I choose YES to a positive choice, I'm turning ON the positive results from making that choice.
If I choose NO to a negative choice, I'm also turning ON the positive results from making that choice.
If I choose NO to a positive choice, I'm turning OFF the positive results from making that choice.
If I choose YES to a negative choice, I'm turning ON negative results from making that choice.
Yeses can be ons and offs, and nos can be on and offs.
But where I was going with that is that it's like a computer with the language of 1s and 0s. Ons and offs. And our brains work like computers... Running on and off programs. And answering yes and no to your choices sometimes without you realizing it. That's why we need to be aware of the answers we give ourselves when we are making choices. Because the choice is either YES, I accept and project, or NO I deny and reject. The ideal is to only accept the positivity and deny the negativity. Instead of accepting the negativity and denying the positivity.
Principles are natural laws to govern by. All aspects of our health are governed by principles.
Aspects such as: Physical, Mental, Spiritual, Emotional.
And going back to the definition of principles, all these aspects are going to be affected in terms of behavior and reasoning.
Physical behavior and reasoning for your physical needs.
Mental behavior and reasoning for mental needs.
Spiritual behavior and reasoning for spiritual needs.
Emotional behavior and reasoning for emotional needs.
But... Not only this... All these aspects are inter-related. The ultimate goal is to gain and strive for health in all aspects. Social values are what are distracting us from governing our lives on principles. Society has its own principles, but we each need our own personal principles for our own values. Our behavior, reasoning, and our needs are our values. At least they are in my mind.
