In case you're wondering what I'm up to... Sometimes I wonder if anyone wonders what I'm up to...
Anyway, I've been doing a bit better lately. I know I'm always going to miss him, but I can't dwell on the fact that he's gone or how he died. He's in a place now where he doesn't have to worry about owing people money or worry about getting food.
I've been trying my hand at writing again. It's harder than I remember it. Right now, it's just a sketch of a story, it's not the actual story. I'm playing around with words, characters, ideas.
I found a website that I like to use, not just when I have writer's block, but also for amusement.
It's called ManyThings. It's got a lot of ESL stuff, but it also has word games and things like that. It's got this thing called a sentence machine and you can put your own words into the spaces to generate something like 66 different sentences based on those words. Also you can type in names to appear in the sentences.
I think we're finally getting our rain now. Been so hot that it was about time we got some.
I can tell if it's raining by listening to the highway next to this building. I can hear the water on the wheels of the passing cars. I don't have to look outside to know it's raining. But that sound gets on my nerves after a while. Stupid repetitive sounds that never stop.
I guess I could listen to music. I downloaded a mix album from someone on SoundCloud. They like dance music. I have some of that, but I listen to all kinds of music. I still listen to Sinead O'Connor. I listen to a lot of older music. I like 80's - 90's and even 70's music. There are a lot of newer songs I haven't even heard. I wonder if I could put some links to songs I like on here... I don't want people to sue me. Ha! They could try, but what are they really going to get from me? I don't own anything they'd want to take me to court for. You want to take my house? Really? I don't own one! You want to take my car? Really? I don't own one. I have a cat and nobody's taking her away from me. Over my dead body.
What are the songs I like? Almost too many to name.

I guess that's it for the night. I have lots more songs I like, just a bit at a time. I only put in 10 links to songs from youtube tonight. These aren't my top 10, just 10 in random order. What songs do you like?
