People say that in Ottawa there are only 2 seasons: Construction & Winter. Why am I telling you this? Because of all the construction going on around here. They just started a major construction project next to my building. I'm REALLY not happy about it.
Sean will know what I'm talking about when I describe what they are doing because he used to live around here. Way before I did. It's kind of funny, because I kind of 'met' him before I moved here and I didn't know that he lived down the street before I moved here. Some will say that it is a coincidence.
Anyway, what they are doing is this: There's a little field between the bus station and my building. They are building a parking garage for the mall there, which is too close for my liking. They are doing this because the parking garage that they have over by Zellers is being torn down. The reason they are tearing it down is because the Zellers is being turned into a Target store and they want to expand the mall to where the parking garage is now. To me, this is all so very stupid and I really wish they had just left it alone.
That's not all that's going on. The management company that owns this building thinks it is a good idea to replace all the apartment doors. They also want to start working on the balconies. So wherever I go, there's some construction obstruction. I've been going out a bit, but staying in at night. I've been watching a lot of those tutorials and I made a few things. I watched a tutorial on crocheted headbands and made a couple of them. I made a couple of bracelets too. I'm experimenting and trying to use as much of the wool that I have that I can. I have BOXES and BOXES FULL of wool to use up. I have collected it over the years. If you'd see how much of it I have, you'd say I have hoarding issues.

I moved to Nepean in April,05!
SEAN WINS!!! :P
All these years I thought it was the other way around. You win!
