The Thirst For Knowledge

Some kids are like sponges for information. As soon as my son learned how to read, I started taking him to the public libraries and letting him choose his own books. I soon discovered that his interests are in mathematics and science. He read the biography of Albert Einstein when he was in the second grade. I told him about another book I have: A Brief History of Time by Stephen Hawkins. Soon he got more interested in outer space as well. The last books he wanted to borrow from me were a couple volumes of: Practical Knowledge for All. Those are old books and the info is pretty basic for how outdated they are. All I can do is keep teaching him what I know and what I learn, but he still keeps teaching me new things. He's so smart and inquisitive, and I am a proud Mommy!
