For a long time, I've been interested in Latin. I'd go to the library with specific intent to sit there looking at quotes. Here are some of them I've picked up:
ab ovo - from the egg (from the very beginning)
ad hoc - for this occasion, with regards to this
ad infinitum - to the infinity
alter ego - another I
bona fide - in good faith
I have tonnes more where that came from, but that's just for starters.
I'd also like to learn spanish and brush up on french.
The problem I have in french is that I don't know the proper verbs, so my grammer is pretty bad. Well, sad is the word I'd use.
One thing I know in Spanish is: Guerra al cuchillo. I think it means knife fight or something like that. I have a book of police commands in spanish and english. Like: "Arms up!" and "You're under arrest!" Stuff like that.
I really have lots to write about or rather my mind is going a million miles a minute. I still haven't gone to sleep yet and I worked all night and I mean ALL night from 11pm to 11am. I'm pretty much a zombie because I had 12 hours in between the last 12 hour shift I did. That's right: 24 hours of work in the last 48 hours. I almost wrote days instead of hours (shows how tired I am). And I had a hard time spelling instead without a 'u' in it so I'd better be getting some sleep because it's getting hard to type and see straight.
