Slowing Down

Had a lot on my plate lately.
Decided to quit one of the shifts I had.
Still keeping the other one.
It's good to work, but not too much.
Now I have some time to work on other things.
Other things that are important.
The two shifts were only supposed to be temporary anyway.
A couple of months, which are over now.
Plus, there is a trip I want to take this fall.
Back to Niagara Falls. Booked a room tonight.
Been saving up money for months and months.
Hoping to see my Great-Aunt. She will be 103 this year.
Only about a month away. Well, closer to 5 weeks.
End of October. Anyway, I'm excited.
This time will be better. Last time didn't seem real.
Was out of my usual environment. There was a disconnect.
Will be slowing down this month. Focusing on other things.
Been saving up money. Good thing I have been.
Never know when you're going to need it.
I have jars for my coins. I keep them separated.
Not because of some "can't have my coins mix" thing.
Just fun to put them in their own jars.
Like a little jar just for the dimes, one for quarters, etc.
I have one for 'big change' which is my loonies, and toonies,
and sometimes $5 bills. (Is it toonie, or twonie?)
Besides I want to focus on a few things like chores
When we work so much, chores tend to fall by the wayside.
But, also art and other things.
I gained some weight the last few months.
Being on the go and eating whatever.
Eating before work. And after work.
I was underweight before, though, so I needed some of it.
My boyfriend and I are bad influences on each other sometimes.
Him going to work before I do, would be a good thing,
and then having time to myself to get some things done.
Been meaning to make lots of things, but need the time to do it.
Change can be a good thing. It means less money, but a bit more time.
