Tonight, we went to meet the cleaners
who have been cleaning the building we will be cleaning.
The reason they are leaving is the hours changed.
Which is fine. Gave us the opportunity to take over.
They showed us what they do and how they do it.
Once we get a routine down, everything will be easier.
The boss and the supervisor were there tonight, too.
Which is fine.
The boss guy seems nice but he likes everything done a certain way.
The supervisor doesn't care how it's done, as long as it's done,
but he can be a dick at times. With stupid comments
that are unnecessary and unprofessional.
The couple training us are really nice.
We're meeting with them on Saturday for more training.
Then they might be working with us until they are done
their two weeks from their two week notice.
Or they might not be. I don't know, yet.
We will be finishing work pretty late which is okay.
I used to work from 11pm 'til 6:30 am.
It was only part time. In the middle of the week.
It'll be nice to have something consistent.
3 nights a week instead of 1 but it'll amount to the same amount of time.
Since this gig is only a few hours per night
whereas the last gig was 1 night a week, but 7.5 hours.
I'll still be working 7.5 hours/week but over 3 nights instead of just 1.
So that will get me into a routine. We'll see how it goes.
So far, it is a start and I can't complain.
I kind of wanted to get into another industry, but
since I have experience in this industry, it looks like I'm stuck.
For now, anyway. Who knows what the future will hold.
Overall, I'm happy that I'll have some more money.
It won't be a lot, but it's something.
Something is always better than nothing.
I guess that depends on the circumstance.
But it fits here.
Now to have dinner soon and watch something before bed.
