Speaking of Things Changing...

I came across an old video of Ottawa after a major snow storm.
The year was 1942. My Grandfather probably would have remembered.
My Grandfather grew up in Ottawa, where he was born.
His father was from England.
Came to Canada when he was around ten years old.
He worked as a servant or so the story goes. He was an orphan.

Anyway, It was neat to see the old video. All the street cars stuck.
The buses get stuck, too. Like in the record breaking snow storm we had
back in February. February is the coldest month here, in Ottawa.
I liked the part in the video where they had these ploughs that had tank treads.
One was a huge barge type thing, and there was a small one pushing the end.
Train wheels can't connect to a buried track. They are useless in the snow.
Would be weird if the buses had tank treads.
