I decided to get internet and I'm happy with the highspeed. Before, I only had dial up, it was good for emails and blogging, but I couldn't watch anything on youtube, or download anything because it was too slow. I remember when it was all I had and I couldn't use the phone and internet at the same time. It is wi-fi so I can use it anywhere in the apartment. I missed certain things about having internet when I didn't have it.
Well, as an update, I'm helping out my boyfriend and he's been helping me. You see, I tripped and fell onto my hand. I thought it was just badly bruised, but I went to the hospital and got an x-ray. The doctor said that it is a spiral fracture on or below my ring finger on my left hand.
I was visiting my mother that day and I take the o-train to greenborro station. I saw the o-train on my way back so I was running to make it to the platform before it took off without me.As I was running, my foot went into a crack and I tripped and fell. I crushed my hand under my shoulder when I fell. I wish I had just let it go without me and waited for the next one.
They put a splint thing on my hand that almost goes to my elbow, half plaster like a cast and it is bandaged to my arm. I'm supposed to leave it on until next Wednesday when I see the doctor/specialist dude. I can't wait until I can use my other hand. There are so many things I can't do with just one hand. I want to knit and crochet, but I have to wait! It was driving me crazy last night.
I have Rob's turtles in my dining room. They were freaked out when they got here and we had to put them in the tub while we got their tank set up. They seem to be o.k. He had to get out of the place he was living in and I'm storing his things here in the meantime.
Anyways, I'm going to jet for now.
